A Truth and Reconciliation process seeks to bring reconciliation between victims and perpetrators of past abuses. Those Moroccans who chose to follow Jesus during the second half of the twentieth century suffered greatly. Today, their suffering is more subtle, including job discrimination, hassle over renewing passports and other official documents, and harassment from their families.
